Not normally into gifts (mugs, bookmarks, magnets etc etc) featuring quotes but I can relate to the sentiment on the bag below. Plus, the Literary Gift Company has badges - of typewriters - and I love typewriters....

Tea-towels: You can never have too many

Retro goodies galore at House 8810. I love the tea-towels and the tablecloths but most of all I love this cargo bag. Reminds me of my brother's TAA cabinbag that he had when we were little.

Beach Umbrella

I know - it's pink, it's got birds on it. Not things I normally like so much. However, I've been into flamingoes since seeing some at Adelaide Zoo last year. Plus, I have a bit of a thing for Miami at the moment (holiday approaching, this is me showing off).

Head to Suboo for the South Beach beach umbrella ($99.95). There are other designs if you think your brother/ husband/ dad wouldn't feel comfortable pegging pink birds into the sand at Rosebud.
